Zeon Chemicals names new chief

LOUISVILLE, KY, Dec. 10 -- Gary Grindrod has been named president and CEO of Zeon Chemicals L.P., a supplier of specialty elastomers, polymers, and specialty chemicals. Grindrod will report to York Otawa, executive managing director of Zeon Corp. in Tokyo. Grindrod has 30 years of experience in the chemical industry -- the last five at Zeon and the previous 25 with Rohm and Haas Co. Prior to his current position, Grindrod served as vice president and general manager of Zeon锟? new business development division and as director of sales for Zeon锟? elastomers division.
