Nypro adds second facility in Hungary

NAGYIGMAND, HUNGARY, Dec. 11 -- Injection molding giant Nypro Inc. is expanding its presence in eastern Europe in response to increased demand for contract manufacturing services. An assembly and painting operation will be Nypro's second facility in Hungary. Nypro signed an agreement Dec. 1 to occupy 20,000-sq-ft of an existing 40,000-sq-ft building here. Nypro says demand for contract manufacturing services continues to grow with painting and assembly operations being the fastest-growing segment of Nypros business.
