EcoPure Biodegradable Plastic Additive Shows Biodegradation of Petroleum-Based Plastics by ASTM Standards Making Totally Green Products

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Bio-Tec Environmental has just completed a new round of "green products" testing on its biodegradable plastic solution EcoPure, its second generation additive that makes green products by turning regular plastic into biodegradable plastic. This results in environmentally sustainable products. The ASTM D5511 test was run on polypropylene, PVC, PE and EVA --the most common plastics in use today--at an independent lab, and the results are conclusive that EcoPure makes plastics biodegrade in a microbial rich environment, when used at a .7% concentration.
