DuPont Launches First Product Using Plantic Material

Plantic is an AIM-quoted company engaged in the development and
commercialization of a range of biodegradable plastics from naturally occurring
high amylose starch.
Previously, Plantic and DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers ("DuPont") jointly
announced an agreement under which DuPont would, inter alia, market Plantic's starch-based
sheet materials in North America and injection moulding resins globally, excluding Australia and
New Zealand. This agreement was subsequently extended to cover Japan.
Plantic is now pleased to announce that its material is being used by DuPont to package
BPA free baby bottles for the latest Weil Baby product line. The inserts for these
