Arla Plast’s new Griphen Frost uses Eastman 14471 Copolyester Resin to Provide New Image for Abbey

CAPELLE A/D IJSSEL -- As part of an extensive re-branding exercise,
UK high street bank Abbey is refitting its 714 branches in the United Kingdom
over the next three years, using its new corporate identity. For the interior
display panels, the material selected was Griphen Frost from Arla Plast
of Sweden. These sheets, made from Eastman 14471 copolyester resin, were thermoformed
to retain their matt surface finish, giving great visual impact. In addition,
the material has Class 1Y fire certification in the UK - with low smoke density
and emission of non-toxic gases in a fire. Abbey has 714
branches in the UK through which it services 18 million customers. The Bank was
