Brief is clear and comprehensive. I totally agree that combined action of the public, policy makers , scientists and industry is necessary to address the swelling issue of plastic waste from design to end of life . Biobased polymers will play a key role and their development needs to be financially supported on a European basis. I submitted a report last September to the President of the Sustainable Development Commission and the Vice President of the French Parliament to highlight potential strategies within the scope of the current discussion of the French legislation package "Grenelle 2" due for a vote in January 2010.
I would be extremely interested to read the full technical paper published by the Biolology and Ecology Reseach Centre and exchange views with its authors.

Brief is good and it seems study has looked into all the aspects. In my view full paper must be publicised , circulated and made available for free access to anyone and everyone ; as the paper is noble and current in its idea , thought and contents.
There may be number of global corporate entities who would come forward to sponsor cost of circulation and royalty to paper presenters as part of their green CSR projects.
Paper must be translated and circulated in major languages around the world. This could be the greatest service to humanity and its efforts to save the planet !!
In its aftermath there could be large number of subgroups springing up around the globe for deepening the study and understand Plastics ; sustainability and future of humanity on planet earth !!!
