NAS is the clear alternative to SAN, acrylic, and crystal polystyrene in SBC blends for applications demanding a strong, stiff, water-clear plastic resins. NAS acrylic copolymers allow molders to reduce overall processing costs without compromising performance and provide superior toughness when blended with SB (styrene butadiene). NAS rivals the look of pure acrylic while delivering a lower total cost.

ZYLAR® impact-modified resins provide both clarity and toughness along with overall cost savings. ZYLAR® resins process more easily than clear ABS and polycarbonate, delivering greater value to the molder. In a spiral flow test, ZYLAR® resins flow up to one-third farther than clear ABS when processed at similar temperatures. Additionally, ZYLAR® resins can flow the same distance as polycarbonate at significantly lower temperatures, resulting in shorter molding cycles, higher productivity and parts with less molded-in stress.
