Depending on the specific tube and hose application, technical requirements may vary in each field. The main characteristics sought by manufacturers in a material are high hydrolysis and chemical resistance while allowing easy processing.
TPU offers a wide range of valued properties that are not provided by rubber, such as:
transparency,
outstanding abrasion resistance,
easy-recycling,
reduced density,
bursting behaviour without "ballooning".
The Pearlthane® range has been optimized to meet even the most stringent requirements
of pneumatic tubing performance.

Pearlthane® D11H98 and Pearlthane® 11T98 are based on polycaprolactone copolyester based TPU technology. They offer outstanding chemical and hydrolysis resistance when compared to conventional polyester solutions. In addition, they exhibit excellent mechanical performance resulting in tubes with optimal kink resistance and strength characteristics.
