Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT)
Cost-effective Performance |
Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) combines excellent mechanical and electrical properties with robust chemical resistance. It is a semi-crystalline polymer first introduced to the marketplace by Ticona as Celanex® PBT. This technological base provides foundation, not only for the Celanex® PBT family of materials, but also for Ticona´s high-performance line of Vandar® Polyester alloys.

Fast cycling Multi-application |
The PBT- based resins deliver high flow and rapid crystallization. This makes them fast-cycling. The PBT product range includes a wide variety of reinforced, filled, impact-modified and flame-retardant grades which are great for injection molding.

|
Ticona also offers a variety of PBT grades for other processes including: profile, tube and monofilament extrusion, melt blown and spunbond production.
