What is High Heat Polycarbonate?
High Heat Polycarbonate is a transparent amorphous polymer that exhibits
superior heat resistance compared to standard polycarbonate while maintaining intrinsic
toughness and transparency.

High Heat Polycarbonate is used to replace glass,
metal or standard polycarbonate in very demanding applications where toughness
and/or transparency are needed at continuous service temperatures higher than
130°C.
All of these highly interesting performances are available in
Apec®, Bayer MaterialScience's high heat polycarbonate.
If you need toughness, transparency and superior
heat resistance, Apec® is the right choice!
