Facing Extremely High Heat?
New Material offers a broader spectrum of Solutions!
Your Challenge...
For specific parts such as connectors, LEDs, semiconductors or any manufacturing
parts that require extremely high heat resistance (up to 300°C), finding the
right material at optimized cost remains a challenge.
In fact, for such a high temperature and harsh environment application, only a few
polymeric materials are available. These include polyimides (poor processing ability
& high cost) and PEEK (low strength and poor dimensional stability at high temperatures).
The Solution...
To close this performance gap between PI and PEEK, a new generation of thermoplastic
polyimide (TPI) blends has been designed to offer a broader spectrum of solutions
with an optimized and unique balance of properties.

By combining high temperature performance and thermoplastic benefits into one material,
you can now push your design limits and/or optimize your overall system cost.
Design your own product...
These solutions may also offer new opportunities for parts historically designed
in metal or ceramic materials and where weight reduction, increased design freedom
or ease of part production are becoming important factors.
Depending on your needs, TPI blends are available in multiple commercial grades;
fully amorphous or Semi-crystalline blends and tailored blends as illustrated into

This unique combination of performance can be valued in extreme temperature and
harsh environments such as those found for connectors, LEDs, various semiconductor
parts or in applications where metal or ceramics would otherwise need to be used.
