Polycarbonate - Polyester blends, based on Polybutylene Terephtalate (PBT) or Polyethylene Terephtalate (PET), actually combine the benefits of Polycarbonate (PC) with Polyesters. Indeed, they exhibit a unique set of performances:

 PC with PBT for higher flow, superior chemical resistance and toughness
 PC with PET for higher heat resistance and higher dimensional stability

Moreover, performance profile can be easily matched by adjusting the Polycarbonate-Polyester ratio (and viscosities) and/or by adding specific additives such as fillers and UV stabilizers. PC-PET blends are prefered when higher chemical resitance and dimensional stability are required.
