PA 46 - A High Temperature Polyamide

Polyamide 46 (PA 46) is a high temperature polyamide providing unmatched performance across an amazingly broad range of technical applications such as automotive, E&E, and industry. PA 46's performance characteristics include outstanding mechanical properties at high temperatures, excellent resistance to wear, low friction as well as excellent chemical resistance.

In particular in gear applications, PA 46 offers a combination of excellent performance, design freedom and productivity.

PA 46 is often used to replace metal in demanding, high temperature applications.

All of these highly interesting performances are available in Stanyl®, DSM's high temperature Polyamide 46.

High Service Temperature ( from 85°C to 180°C)

Excellent wear Resistance (High Durability)
